In February 2021, the Registry Trust team received the devastating news that our beloved friend and colleague Richard had bravely lost his four year battle with cancer. On 13 August 2022, we are taking part in Tough Mudder for Sue Ryder and would really appreciate your donations.
Richard was the Director of Sales & Marketing at Registry Trust for 14 years. Working alongside Richard in our small organisation meant that we not only got to know him as our colleague, but also as a close friend.
His steadfast determination to ‘keep on fighting’ made us think he would outlive us all, and his willpower to ‘stick around’ for as long as he could, made it hard to believe that his journey had sadly come to an end.
Sue Ryder, a cause close to Richard’s heart, supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can. By fundraising for this event, we want to help Sue Ryder continue to provide others with the same care and support they provided our friend and his family.
Featuring 13 teamwork-inspired obstacles jam-packed into a 5k course, Tough Mudder is a fast-paced challenge set to test teams of all kinds.
