London Loop
Registry Trust's London Loop Begins.
Registry Trust News Team

Yesterday, we set off on our very first walk of the London Loop. The start of what we expect to be a two-year journey around the capital.
This challenge is part of a companywide wellbeing initiative, designed to get us moving, spend time together outside of work, and do something meaningful along the way.
And that’s where you come in.
We’re proud to be supporting Turn2us, a national charity helping people facing financial hardship access practical support when they need it most.
We completed stage 18 of the London Loop (Enfield Lock - Chingford), estimated 4 and 3/4 miles (7.6km, going by the book) but definitely seemed longer! This was the first walk of our London Loop adventure, which took 1hr 50 to complete.
Weather was sunny and scenery was greener than anticipated with large open spaces filled with nature and wildlife, we enjoyed time away from the desk in the 'great outdoors' with the opportunity to get some well needed exercise with a chance to re-connect with colleagues.
Awarded with a burger and chips at our final destination, we all finished the day with a smile, achy legs and a full stomach.
We’ll be sharing regular updates as we go, tracking our progress around the Loop and towards our fundraising goal.
Our walk through:
Sewardstone Marsh Nature Reserve
The River Lee (also spelt River Lea)
Sewardstone Hills
With the final 45 minutes taking us through Epping Forest.
Alongside the miles, we’re aiming to raise £1,000 for this incredible cause.

Every step counts. Every bit of support makes a difference.
